Words Matter take two

The last post I wrote about the words we say to others and those are important and impactful, but for this post I want to write about the words we speak to ourselves…  These can really change the landscape of your life… Either for the good or for the bad…  Somethings we tell ourselves we wouldn’t even imagine saying to another but yet we think its okay to speak these things to ourselves.  What we sow we shall surely reap and that especially goes for the words we speak to ourselves..

Saying negative things and get negative results.. Say positive things and get positive results..  Now I know this just seem too simple and corny but it really works.  Now that doesn’t me we can just say things and they happen but it truly is amazing how we accomplish so much more and feel so much better if we say encouraging and positive words to ourselves…

Try just for a day noticing how you speak to yourself, try to be aware of the things your saying and make a mental note or write it in a note book.  Then at the end of the day do an evaluation of it and see how you are doing, you may be surprised.  Now just in the morning try to change and say only encouraging and kind words to yourself and see how you feel and how you day turns out..   Did it feel any different?  Did things turn out the way you thought?

Now you decide was it worth it, are you going to “Take it, or let it go”.  Thank you for stopping by and until next time TTFN..

Words Matter

I saw these words on someones shirt in yoga the other day..  Have you ever thought about the words you use when you speak to others?  What about the words you use when you speak to yourself??  Now I know what you thinking I don’t speak to myself only crazy homeless people do that I seen them on the streets downtown..  Well actually we all do!!  Some of us just don’t move our lips when we do it…  And its okay if you don’t want to admit it remember the name of my website, Take it or let it go, so just let it go and I will see you next time…. But for those of you know what I am talking about… WOW sometimes those words are loud, I mean really loud…   Its what kept me from this blog for so long..

We could probably talk about this topic for a really long time, actually till the end of time and still not cover everything there is to cover…  But for this visit lets talk about those words we use when speak to others.  Are we using encouraging words, are we building others up?  Or are we using words that are tearing others down, causing them pain and grief?  Many times when we do the latter its because we have been hurt ourselves or we have not dealt with a past issue that keeps use from being mindful of how we are effecting others..  I know there could be countless other reasons for us lashing out to others but maybe for today lets just try to think about the words we are using towards others and “‘Do unto others as you would have done unto you” or however that saying goes.  Just think before you speak, and ask yourself is that how I would want another to speak to me..

For now thats all I got, thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment..   Hope you enjoy your day…

We’re back

Sometimes we just don’t think we can do somethings.. We look at someone else that is doing it and we think, I couldn’t do that… Then we either don’t even try or we just stop what we were doing.

Well that is what happened here…. I just didn’t feel I was qualified to post anything here.

As I stated in one of my posts, I didn’t do well in any english or writing class, let alone typing (keyboarding for some of you).  So naturally it is easy for me to think I can’t do this…

Well after a long, I mean long summer break, we are back with a new conviction to keep sharing and inspiring all who are stopping by to see what this site has to offer…

Thanks again for checking in and looking to see what is here for the taking or letting go, Whichever floats your boat..
