Three words that can change the way we think, act and react. Words that were associated with hippies back in the 60’s now are actions we need today.
I know these words weren’t made up just then but it seems they stirred up a lot of controversy back then. Yet they were just words… I don’t know that because I was around at that time but you know I read and heard somethings about them darn hippies.. I am really starting to believe they were on to something.. Not on something like your thinking!! But they really my have had it right…
What a difference words can make. We can build up a person or tear them down with just a few words. Tell someone their fat and ugly and it can send them into a spiral that can effect not just that moment or even just that day but could effect their whole life. Call someone a princess and it could give them the confidence to become the next Miss America. Words carry such an amount of weight we don’t even realize. Self talk is even worse, we tell ourselves things we would never even consider telling another. We are so critical of ourselves it sometimes keeps us from leaving the house. When I was younger a common sayings was sticks and stone may hurt my bone but words will never hurt me.. This innocent little rhyme I’m sure has effected countless lives we cannot begin to imagine. Words hurt and we just throw them around without even thinking of the consequences. Words even uttered to yourselves about another changes our demeanor towards them and affects them tremendously. So much to think about here…
So it’s that time again… Are you… going to take it… or let it go??? Whatever you decide we are so so glad you stopped by and hope to see you again soon. We do appreciate your time.
